QuickMark is made by David Voland. This policy describes how the QuickMark iOS app handles information.

What QuickMark stores

On the iPhone or iPad where it is installed, QuickMark can store:

• Class names and roster information you add or import
• Student names and optional details you choose to include, such as student ID, grade, student email, or parent email
• Events, notes, counts, follow-ups, rules, and class history
• Optional student photos

This information is stored locally on the device using Apple’s on-device storage. David Voland does not operate a QuickMark server that receives this information, and the current app does not include a developer analytics or advertising SDK.

What QuickMark does not do

• No account or sign-in
• No built-in cloud sync
• No connection to a school student information system
• No sending of email from the app. If you store a parent or student email address, it stays in QuickMark on that device

Photos

If you add student photos, they are processed on the device and saved in QuickMark’s local storage. You can remove custom photos from Settings.

Device backups

If you back up the device with iCloud or a computer, Apple’s backup may include app data. That is controlled by your device backup settings, not by a QuickMark upload to the developer.

davidvoland.com is a static website. It does not use cookies, analytics, or forms. Email links on the support page open your own mail app.
