GoofyTunes: Make & Sing Songs

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

GoofyTunes is made by David Voland. This policy describes how the GoofyTunes iOS app handles information. GoofyTunes is made for kids and families, and it does not collect any personal information.

What GoofyTunes stores

On the iPhone or iPad where it is installed, GoofyTunes can store:

This information is stored locally on the device using Apple’s on-device storage. David Voland does not operate a GoofyTunes server that receives this information, and the app does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK.

What GoofyTunes does not do

Camera and microphone

GoofyTunes asks for camera and microphone access only so you can record a performance in Perform & Record. Recordings are saved in GoofyTunes on the device, and you can delete them in the app at any time. You can also turn off camera and microphone access in iOS Settings.

Sharing and saving

A recording or song only leaves GoofyTunes if you choose Share, which opens the standard iOS share sheet (for example Save Video to Photos, AirDrop, or Messages). A grown-up check appears before the share sheet opens. Anything you share is handled by the app or service you choose, not by GoofyTunes.

Purchases

GoofyTunes Plus is an optional one-time $2.99 purchase (price may vary by country). It is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, and the developer never receives your payment details. A grown-up check appears before any purchase or restore.

Device backups

If you back up the device with iCloud or a computer, Apple’s backup may include app data. That is controlled by your device backup settings, not by a GoofyTunes upload to the developer.

Children’s privacy

Because GoofyTunes collects no personal information, it collects none from children. Parents with questions are welcome to contact me.
